Little tasks.
Big stars.
Your very own pet!

Star Pals turns everyday routines into a game your little one loves. Each task is a big, friendly picture that is read out loud. Every finished task earns a star and makes their pet happier.

How it works

Three simple steps, built for children who can't read yet.

  1. 1

    Parents set it up

Choose the tasks for morning, afternoon and evening, and the rewards your family likes, behind a parent PIN.

  2. 2

    Children tap and listen

Every task is a big picture that is read out loud. Your child taps the green tick when it is done.

  3. 3

    Every task is celebrated

A cheer, a star and a happier pet. Stars fill a reward jar and unlock levels, tricks, outfits and toys for the pet.

A pet to look after

Children choose and name a pet. It cheers them on through the day and remembers its favourite toy.

  • Puppy
  • Kitten
  • Parrot
  • Bunny
  • Hamster
  • Fish

Stars unlock new tricks, outfits and surprise gifts, and toys for the pet's room. Tap a toy, or drag it to the pet, and watch them play.

For parents

You stay in control. The parent area sits behind a PIN.

Your tasks, your routine

Set tasks for morning, afternoon and evening, and for each day of the week. Add your own tasks with a photo.

Your voice

Record a task or reward name in your own voice. The recording stays on the phone.

Rewards you choose

Stars fill a jar towards a reward you pick together, such as a trip to the park or ice cream. A grown-up gives the reward.

More than one child

Each child gets their own profile and pet.

See how the week went

The parent area shows today's tasks and a history at a glance.

Four languages

English, Afrikaans, isiZulu and isiXhosa, chosen for each child.
